Supply Chain Professional Salaries on the Rise

According to a 2022 salary survey conducted by the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP), the average salary for supply chain professionals rose more than 9% last year, from $131,771 to $144,017.

Supply/demand is a critical factor in supply chain management, and that extends to supply/demand of the logistics workforce itself. Demand is high right now, and employers are intent on attracting and retaining talented professionals.

鈥淲hether it be the information revolution, the green revolution, or simply preventing product shortages, every form of production and distribution needs well-trained supply chain professionals,鈥� said Darren Prokop, UAA Professor of Logistics.

鈥淚t鈥檚 a perfect time to become a supply chain professional or invest in an advanced degree,鈥� Prokop said. The CSCMP salary survey noted an average salary of $134,037 for professionals with a bachelor鈥檚 degree and $163,335 for those with a master鈥檚 degree.

The College of Business and Public Policy offers both a bachelor鈥檚 degree in Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and a master鈥檚 degree in Global Supply Chain Management that is offered entirely online.
