UAA’s College of Business and Public Policy Earns Extension of Prestigious AACSB Accreditation

The 鶹ý (UAA) (CBPP) is proud to announce the extension of its accreditation by —The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. This recognition affirms CBPP’s continued commitment to excellence in business education, impactful research, and meaningful engagement with Alaska’s communities and economy.
AACSB accreditation is the hallmark of excellence in business education and is earned by fewer than six percent of the world’s business schools. The reaffirmation follows a rigorous review by a peer review team and has been ratified by both the AACSB Continuous Improvement Review Committee and the AACSB Board of Directors.
“This accomplishment reflects the hard work, innovation, and dedication of our faculty, staff, students, and advisory board,” said Dr. Terry Nelson, Interim Dean of CBPP. “It also underscores the CBPP’s commitment to continuous improvement and preparing leaders who will shape the future of Alaska and beyond.”
CBPP offers a robust portfolio of undergraduate and graduate programs aligned with workforce needs in Alaska, including degrees in accounting, finance, marketing, management, public administration, and more. Through partnerships with industry, government, and community organizations, the college delivers education with real-world impact and societal value.
